You manage technical and scientific professionals responsible for initiation and execution of programs. This is a leadership role in cross-functional teams and regularly interacts with RDQ and cross-functional senior management.
How you will contribute
In the Latin America portion of the role, you will lead the coordination of all Special Situations and related preventative programs for the LA region and support delivery of the overall quality strategy, accessing sufficient resources and expertise from appropriate functions and locations. You will ensure compliance with Mondelēz policies and procedures and adherence to external regional and local food safety/regulatory requirements in internal and external manufacturing locations and facilities. Will ensure the right documentation and evidences required by our polices and Stds. In this role, you will develop programs linked to supporting continuous improvement in incident management and preventative action and report related quality KPIs, applying your understanding of the impact regional KPIs have on the global business. In addition, you will facilitate communities of practice on SSM related topics; represent LA in Global meetings and lead the LA Community of SSMT coordinators to ensure that sufficient resources and expertise are allocated to significant incidents and projects. You will support identification of program and Root Cause analysis enhancements and improvements across Commercial functions and the supply chain; and partner with technical groups such as food safety/micro and sanitation to ensure subject matter expert resource is pulled in as required, and essentially manage special situations and early warnings with respect to LA level investigations, root-cause analysis and follow-up for the SSMT, protecting Mondelēz's interests and reputation.
In the Global Portion of the role, you will support the Global SSMT Leader in the preparation of meetings, perform data and trend analysis, data insights for senior stakeholders, the generation of robust RCA's, improving the dissemination of lessons learned and action plans post incidents, and the close out of issues. You will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the Global SSMT BU Community of Practice, Regional SSMT CoP, prepare all SSMT meetings (Global and Core Teams) throughout the year and aligning the content with Global Leader and Coordinators. You will also be responsible for maintaining the Global SSMT Manual and related policies, processes and procedures updated and available. You will be responsible for managing the Global Sharepoint and its content, update and develop training materials, connecting with relevant functions to update SSM procedures and protocols, while also keeping the contact list always updated. It will be your responsibility to grant access to people as needed and assure people with access to both Sharepoint and Quickbase are always updated. For Quickbase App, you will be responsible for checking the access to the App, update distribution list accordingly and maintain a close track of the incidents posted, assuring all relevant and necessary information is correct and included. You will review and modify App function and settings as needed, and maintain a close contact with the MDS contractor supporting this App. You will also prepare material for any internal controls or external audits of our special situation processes.

- Relevant experience in operations, quality and/or R&D
- Project management and managing multiple priorities
- Understanding of the commercial strategy process, product/package development process, food safety, plant commercialization, ingredient and package technology, coaching, and training in technical material
- Communication skills and leading cross-functional teams
- Statistical processes and problem-solving techniques, and IL6S working knowledge
- Working with third-party manufacturers and suppliers to ensure compliance to Mondelēz International's policies and procedures
- Working with customers on quality related issues
- Working with service-vendors' technical equipment to support complianc
- Cultural awareness for working effectively with Multicultural teams around the world
- Responsible for the governance of Special Situations for LA.
- Ability to Crisis Management.
- Strong ability to influence, manage stakeholders in different locations worldwide, sense of urgency, and strong analytical skills.
- Fluent in English (mandatory).
- Fluent in Spanish (desirable).
