We are seeking a skilled SRE to scale and optimise our infrastructure, integrate SRE best practices to accelerate time to market, and ensure reliable, scalable, and secure operations.
Experience & Domain Knowledge:
- Expertise in design, implementation, and maintenance highly available, scalable systems
- Expertise in automation deployments, infrastructure provisioning and reducing toil
- Proficiency in implementing monitoring and alerting systems to ensure service availability and performance
- Handling incidents, troubleshooting root cause analysis, and implementing remediation measures
- Planning for scalability and capacity needs, optimising resource utilisation, and improving system performance
- Ensuring systems meet security standards and compliance requirements, mitigating risks and vulnerabilities
- Participate in on-call rotations ensuring system availability
- Collaboration and Participation in the product life cycle, work closely with our product and developent teams to integrate SRE best practices in a fast-paced environment to ensure alignment with business goals
- Strong sense of ownership for systems and service reliability.
Technical Skills:
- 3+ years in an SRE or related role in a high-availability environment
- Advanced understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or GCP or Azure), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture
- Experience with Linux, including server setup, package deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and security
- Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs)
- Advanced knowledge of scripting and programming languages (Python, Go, Bash) and experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, PagerDuty and ELK Stack for monitoring and observability
- Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and the importance of building APIs and self-service tools for development teams.
Soft Skills:
- Communication: Effective communication skills, especially with teams responsible for security, operations and product
- Analytical thinking: Ability to tackle and investigate complicated problems and convert it to the task
- Adaptability to Rapid Changes: Demonstrated capability to adjust to quick technological shifts and evolving business requirements
- Ownership and Accountability: Readiness to take ownership of tasks, issues as well as demonstrate accountability of the results and outcome
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with fintech regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS)
- Russian B1+ Level would be a plus
- Experience in Financial Technology sector
