Job Description
As an SRE Engineer III, you will join one of our engineering teams responsible for managing all aspects of hosting, monitoring, reporting, and incident troubleshooting for various applications running across multiple locations and data centers, both on-prem and in the cloud.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
-
Lead the transition from Windows-based applications in high-availability production and non-production environments to AWS and on-prem Kubernetes on Linux.

Support the architecture and implementation of infrastructure-as-code.

Manage automation initiatives for cloud and on-prem infrastructure.

Provide 2nd and 3rd line incident support to ensure prompt and efficient issue resolution.

Collaborate closely with other teams, including development, infrastructure, and security, to ensure applications run on reliable and secure infrastructure.

Maintain, adapt, and improve monitoring and reporting.
-
Implement best practices for application operations, including change management, release management, capacity planning, resource planning, and fine-tuning of application environments.

Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and key stakeholders, providing advice and support on relevant topics.

Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

Create and maintain technical documentation.
-
Participate in an on-call rotation.

Provide mentorship and support to junior team members to foster their professional growth and development.
Qualifications
-
Experience in cloud initiatives and delivering key infrastructure for core projects.
-
Experience in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, with the ability to implement and optimize cloud architectures.

Experience with container orchestration platforms, specifically Kubernetes, and experience managing large-scale clusters at the enterprise level.

Experience in creating Terraform modules.

Strong experience developing CI/CD pipelines securely and cost-effectively.

Strong expertise with monitoring tools and providing the right level of observability for product engineering teams.

Ability to optimize cloud costs and maintain cost awareness.

Experience working in a high-availability, 24/7 production environment.

Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, including mentoring junior team members.

Passion for understanding problems and delivering effective solutions.

Good networking skills.

Strong infrastructure knowledge (DNS, OS, Virtualization).

Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Self-driven personality with a strong eagerness to learn and deliver.

Salary range will be: 70-80k EUR
