To test and ensure quality of HTML5/Typescript based class 3 real money digital Games for markets across the Globe and be responsible for ensuring high quality standards of games being delivered.
These games will be hosted as digital apps (iOS, Android) as well as over web.
What You'll Do
- Member of the online Digital Gaming team, responsible for testing iGaming products.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude toward QA, with the ability to inspire and onboard others.
- Skilled in self-organization, prioritization, and planning with a focus on risk analysis.
- Methodical approach to testing and strong desire to identify vulnerabilities.
- Experienced in creating and managing test scripts, strategies, and understanding Agile methodologies.
- Release management and mentoring experience.
- Strong understanding of client/server architecture, unit, integration, and system testing.
- Proficient in Git tools (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) and proxying tools (Charles, Postman).
- Experience testing across mobile, tablet, desktop, OS, and browser variations.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and web technologies for bug identification and resolution.
- Performance testing and analysis, providing results to project teams.
- Collaborative with London-based team for status updates and goal delivery.
- Participation in after-hours calls as required.
- Debugs code to identify issues and provides detailed reports to development.
- Modifies game code for testing objectives, including memory metrics and core dumps.
- Strong understanding of mobile devices and web applications.
- Suggests improvements to testing processes, tools, and test cases.
- Manages delivery processes, expectations, and stakeholder communication.
- Handles escalations and supports regulator inquiries.
- Oversees game portfolio, ensuring updates meet market/operator requirements.
- Prepares pre-release packaging and ensures communication of game updates.
- Reviews legal implications of game name changes and font licensing for new markets.
- Provides live issue support for team leads.
What We're Looking For
- 6-8 years of experience in Manual Black-box testing.
- Proficient in CI tools (Hudson, Bamboo, GoCD).
- Skilled with Jira and Test Case Management systems, strong communication skills.
- Familiar with gambling games, particularly slots.
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
- Active in the global QA community.
- Experience writing automated test scripts.
- Exposure to Behavior Driven Development and JavaScript.
- Familiar with automation frameworks and terminal commands.
- Understanding of industry regulations.
- Familiarity with target markets and devices is a plus.
- Experience in releasing products across multiple markets.
