We are seeking a Senior Technical Data Analyst with a strong background in data analysis and applied statistics to join the Lumere product development team. Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for extracting insights from large data sets, scaling analytical processes, and mentoring junior analysts. The Senior Technical Data Analyst will create prescriptive data solutions alongside other analysts and ETL engineers. You will thrive if you love exploring datasets, collaborating cross-functionally, and solving challenging problems in healthcare.  

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Lead Lumere’s data processing for healthcare supply chain data. 
  • Create automated processes based in applied statistics to maintain high quality data output.  
  • Collaborate with engineers, client-facing, and clinical research teams. 
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve data inconsistencies. 
  • Build descriptive, diagnostic, and prescriptive reports.  
  • Work with business and technical staff to distill technical requirements from business requests. 
  • Write flexible, reusable, and efficient code utilizing best practices such as maintaining documentation and using version control. 
  • Mentor new/junior teammates.  

 

Qualifications 

  • 8+ years of professional work experience in data analysis, informatics, statistical analysis or similar. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Economics or similar is preferred. 
  • Advanced SQL 
  • Proven experience in utilizing statics in data analysis to drive decisions. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Master’s Degree is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and data science a plus 
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, and Bash a plus. 
  • Supply chain analysis or background is a plus. 
  • Familiarity with healthcare data rules and standards (such as HIPAA) from working with health or healthcare data (healthcare supplies procurement, purchasing, logistics, or data from EHR/EMR systems like Epic or Cerner) is a plus. 


Estimated salary range: $87,400 - $116,500  

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX’s total compensation package for employees.
