Job Description

Visa’s Corporate IT (CIT) organization is adding a ServiceNow Developer role in Bangalore to its People Technology team, focused on People Technology solutions.

As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our HRSD applications on the ServiceNow platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test strategies . Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute test cases using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and validate the functionality, performance, and security of our HRSD applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough testing of HRSD workflows, configurations, and integrations, identifying and documenting any defects or issues.
  • Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve defects, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining the integrity of the HRSD platform.
  • Participate in test automation efforts using ATF, developing and maintaining automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in HRSD and ServiceNow platform, proactively suggesting improvements and enhancements to existing processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve the quality of HRSD applications, providing valuable insights and recommendations.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Strong knowledge and experience in HR Service Delivery (HRSD) on the ServiceNow platform.
  • 3 - 6 years of proficiency in using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) to design and execute test cases.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using ATF.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, track, and resolve defects in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Application Developer (CAD) certifications are a plus.
