Position Description
As part of the Global Market Connectivity team, this role is responsible for supporting Exchange Connectivity systems for various exchanges and servicing Market Data applications. He/she will also be working in close with Application support teams in CLSA Pune, New York, London and Sydney.
Key Areas of Responsibilities

Early morning exchange connectivity checks, and other shifts to support Asia exchanges when needed

Support Daily Trading operations for various trading desks of High Touch & Low Touch cash Equities and F&O desk

Manage Credit Risk System

Execute exchange driven mandatory upgrades

Rollout software upgrades and working with infra teams to setup connectivity between various exchanges and external brokers.

Play key role to participate weekend exchange connectivity tests, including exchanges driven and internal driven activities.
Requirements
-
Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology/Engineering or related studies
-
Minimum of 10 years proficiency, support and good experience in Market Connectivity applications and exchange gateways

Hands-on experience in supporting Market Data applications like Reuters, Bloomberg

Excellent knowledge of Cash Equity business in a DMA/DSA, Agency and Program Trading environment

Good knowledge of exchange rules of major Asian markets like (Hong Kong, China CONNECT, Japan, KR, SG, TW, AU, IN, ID)

Good exposure in Trading Systems monitoring tools like KIBANA, Grafana, Logstash, Elastic search, ITRS, etc

Good exposure in Credit Risk Management Systems

Good exposure in Change & Incident Management tools like ServiceNOW

Must be self-starter and be able to work independently

Willing to undertake other Trade Support functions

Ready to work in Trading floor (high pressure environment)

Excellent communications skills and the ability to interact with Vendors and Traders
Technology skills:
-
Knowledge in Networking, Firewall, NAT, Multicast, Unicast, etc
-
Knowledge in ORACLE (user level), SQL, Store Procedures.

Knowledge in Unix/Linux, Shell scripting, Perl.

Basic Knowledge in FIX and other Major exchange Protocols.
