What You Will Be Doing  

As a product manager on the Creatives team, you will be responsible for building the vision and strategy for The Trade Desk Creative products as well as integrations with best-in-class 3rd party solutions. This spans the front-end to the backend, from the creative management and approval process to serving ads to end users and everything in between. Configuring how ads are served is a critical phase in our customers’ journey and we play a central role in ensuring that we’re able to meet our users where they are and give them all the tools and data they need to be successful. 

As a Creatives Product Manager at the Trade Desk, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Owning the strategy, roadmap and execution for Creative products. 
  • Working closely with stakeholders across our Engineering, Data Science, and Business teams - helping to align on strategy and thinking through tradeoffs and customer impact. 
  • Gathering customer requirements, designing prototypes, prioritizing and scoping releases that represent customers’ needs, and then working with the rest of the engineering team to bring those products to life and iterate on them over time. 

 

What You Bring To The Table 

  • You have built complex products that take years of iterations to become great. 
  • You can easily find answers in data, and quickly iterate on the product. 
  • 10+ years of Product Management experience in the Creatives space where you demonstrated a sustained track record of making significant contributions to impactful projects. 
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills both in large and small groups. 
  • A sustained track record of making significant, self-directed, and end-to-end contributions to large and impactful projects. 
  • Ability to solve complex, technical problems with creative solutions while managing tradeoffs. 
  • Experience working with distributed teams. 
  • Ability to solve complex, technical problems with practical, scalable solutions. 
  • Durability and grit - sometimes solutions take creative thinking and multiple iterations while dependencies solidify. You try many different approaches to the right answer. 
  • Entrepreneur -- you have a strong bias for action and use compelling, data-based arguments to convince others and generate progress with meaningful results 
  • Excellent listening and communication skills. 
  • Ability to write detailed specifications that clearly articulate the ‘why’ behind the problem.

NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only: In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.  Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is

$149,900$214,900 USD
