Title:
Sr. Specialist, Government Pricing
KBR is making meaningful investments in the Pricing Team that supports our Government Solutions business. The company recognizes a strong Pricing Team is an important partner to business development, capture and operations leaders tasked with increasing company revenue. Are you a Pricing Professional who wants to have a voice in the capture and proposal process? If so, KBR is looking for Pricers who can provide analysis and recommendations that promote more informed decision making and translate into more contract wins. Position is eligible for remote or telework.
Leads and/ or manages cost proposals generally valued between $50M - $100M.
Applies a broad knowledge of general accounting, cost accounting and financial analysis techniques for a variety of the most complex financial and general business problems.
Develops complex pricing strategies and performs risk and cash flow analyses.
Develops and presents price assumptions, financial summaries, and risk assessment to senior leadership prior to proposal submission.
Prepares special reports and analysis as required.
Provides strategic focus to all proposal efforts.
Provides work leadership/technical guidance to lower level pricing analysts.
Performs high level competitive Price to Win analysis.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Travel may be required.
Attributes/Skills Required/Sought:
Comprehensive technical and functional knowledge of direct government pricing practices, regulations and procedures. Advanced business knowledge. Comprehensive organizational, written, and oral communication skills. Strong analytical skills and business acumen to make sound management decisions/recommendations. Ability to work in a team environment.
Experience and Education:
Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience with 2 years of direct government pricing experience. Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
Basic Compensation:
$85,470 -128,205
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
