As a Senior Software Engineer at FactSet, you'll be involved in designing, maintaining, and supporting FactSet Entitlements/Authorization, Authentication components, which are key to our business. We adhere to Auth/Authorization RFC standards and other industry protocols to ensure the robustness of our systems. This position will be primarily responsible for maintaining and enhancing core Auth/Authorization components in addition to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our components and infrastructure. We are seeking a highly motivated Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain, and implement Identity and Access Services software applications.
- Manage LDAP servers for enhancement of system performance and functionalities.
- Will be involved in production support for deploying code in production environment.
- Offer troubleshooting and technical support for production-related tasks and inquiries.
- Provide basic guidance and support to maintain the best practices of Identity and Access Management.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline system enhancements.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience managing LDAP servers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Additional Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SAML and OAuth.
- Experience with Ping Directory, ForgeRock DS.
- Experience with OPA Experience working in an AWS cloud environment and knowledge of Terraform is a plus.
- 1+ year Ping directory experience
- 1+ year Forge Rock experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
The budgeted salary range for this position in the states of Connecticut and New York is $135,000.00 - 150,000.00
