About the Role
Continuously improve the overall Gojek app design & layout to delight and engage more users. You would primarily focus on: Promos screen, Voucher flows, Subscriptions/Voucher pack & Referrals products.
What You Will Do
- Independently responsible for the entire lifecycle of high complexity Android projects or features including software design, development, and deployment within their team
- Improving code structure and architecture in service of testability and maintainability
- Leading new language/framework POCs
- Prioritizing and valuing work that is underrated but increases the predictability, quality & throughput of delivery
- Leading effort to work with other teams to solve problems affecting delivery of their team
- Splitting complex engineering task into smaller components which can be developed by junior engineers in the team
- Mentoring other engineers on an individual basis
What You Will Need
- Should have at least 4 years of experience with Android developmentProficient in Kotlin programming, Java and the Android APIs
- Strong knowledge in Android Apps architecture and implementation
- Ability to write model code for functional and nonfunctional requirements and help improve the code quality standards across the team
- Working experience with popular libraries for networking, async, image loading etc
- Well versed with Agile methodologies, TDD and Test Engineering & Automation
- Have experience in Running A/B or multi-variant experiments for features that you built would be the plus point
About the Team
Customer Platforms group is responsible for providing delightful experiences to more customers via sustainable and scalable product solutions.
Customer Experience Vertical is responsible for improving customer satisfaction towards the Gojek app on mostly non-core booking flow (pre-booking and post-booking) by providing functionality to reach a delightful experience.
