Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Development:
- Maintain and further develop SAP PS across the corporate group
- Expand SAP PS usage at the Milford location, including the implementation of network plans and confirmations
- Process Optimization:
- Analyze and optimize business processes in project management
- Provide comprehensive consulting for specialist departments in the analysis, design, and implementation of business processes in SAP
- Customizing and Integration:
- Design and execute customizing activities in SAP PS
- Support the integration of SAP PS with other SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD, PP-PI
- Manage the interface to Microsoft Project Online via PSLink by TPG
- Support and Training:
- Provide daily support and user assistance, including integration issues
- Conduct consulting workshops and training sessions for users
- Train key and end users to ensure targeted use of the applications
- Provide technical coaching and guidance to colleagues
- Project Management:
- Manage global SAP projects to introduce, update, or roll out solutions within time, budget, and quality constraints
- Cooperate and manage external partners, including creating programming specifications, customizing, tests, and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics or comparable discipline highly preferred
- 10+ years of experience in IT; 5+ years supporting large ERP platforms
- SAP experience required
- Expert knowledge of SAP and best practices, with extensive experience in PS, PPM or CPM
- Comprehensive understanding of processes across systems and modules
- Strong customizing skills and advanced knowledge of ABAP programming
- Experience in managing large SAP projects
- Analytical and networked thinking with a structured approach
- Personal responsibility, flexibility, teamwork, and strong goal orientation
- Excellent MS Office skills
