Your Position:
Major Purpose
Works on an agile product team and supports product design by planning its work, coordinating with others, and writing and testing code to deliver functionality for the complete product or products it supports. This level designs complex/significant parts of a system/sub-system or works on a complete product of a broad scope and solves well-defined problems with little guidance. May act as a work lead, providing technical coaching to other engineers and support personnel; Recognized as an expert user of critical technology; develops new software functionality for product development.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop existing applications and contribute to development of new applications by analyzing problem statements; designing solutions in alignment with more senior software engineers, and implementing your design using SAP and the latest proven technologies.
- Monitor, identify, and correct more complex software defects to maintain fully functioning applications software.
- Produce multiple concepts and prototypes to design digital products/services.
- Design and oversee the functionality, usability, and accessibility of business-critical applications to ensure that technical continuity is maintained and development standards are met.
- Discuss and recommend technical developments to improve the quality of the website/portal/applications software and supporting infrastructure in coodination with more senior software engineers to better meet users' needs.
- Contribute to and maintain a roadmap to facilitate application software development and ensure the development work is prioritized in line with business requirements.
- Provide fault isolation and resolution to limit and address issues promptly.
- Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
- Design distribution of basic database resources and provide physical modeling and design services to tune database applications for optimum performance.
What Skills You Need
- At least 4 years of experience working as a SAP ABAP Developer.
- Desire to grow and learn cloud based technical skills; such as, Typescript, Javascript, AWS, and others.
- Advanced level of English
