Role Value Proposition:
As a Salesforce full stack engineer, you are responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of solutions for MetLife's Customer Solutions Center. You will create functionality and solve problems in Salesforce software using a variety of web languages, software programs, and technologies. Timely and quality delivery of these solutions is based on a set of standards and processes that establish consistency across the enterprise, data, reduce risk, and promote efficiencies in support of the organization and the business goals and objectives. You will have an opportunity to impact every part of the system, foster and cultivate your curiosity, and iterate over solutions to be the very best you can be to deliver for our customers. This role sits within a smaller team which provides the opportunity for the right person to take ownership of broader responsibilities, such as Scrum Lead who can support various releases and as support assisting the Product Owner of multiple products with the full-stack engineering responsibilities being the primary focus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing solutions on the Salesforce Service Cloud Platform
- Leading the collection and documentation of user requirements
- Analyzing, designing, and driving solutions for major components and features
- Implementing enterprise-caliber web and backend solutions
- Ensuring secure, high code quality across the entire team
- Investigating and resolving production management incidents, problems, and service requests
- Interfacing with key stakeholders and business leaders
- Working with cross-functional teams for delivery
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 7+ years of experience in developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform.
- Experience in designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications.
- Testing the stability and functionality of the application.
- Troubleshooting and fixing bugs.
- Writing documents and providing technical training for Salesforce development team members offshore.
- Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software
- Proficient in Triggers, Apex, LWC.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve high-level software and application issues.
Preferred:
- DevOps practices for CI/CD, release management, and automation using Azure DevOps, Selenium, JUnit, or similar technologies.
- Git-based repositories such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure Repos.
- Modern Identity and Access Management and general AppSec practices.
- Experience in working in a Matrix organization
- Experience in working with offshore
- Experience in working on a fast-paced project
