Summary:
Role: The Senior Regional Market Insights role is responsible for identifying meaningful and compelling insights that will drive Business Growth on the Abbott Nutrition Regional Cross Border eCommerce (“CBEC”) business. Responsibilities include identifying consumer preferences and insights, competitive trends, commercial opportunities and risks, as well as ensuring accurate market and share forecast reporting for the financial cycle process. The role will also provide strategic insights and analytics support to cross-functional teams across Marketing, Key Account Managers, Finance, distributors, customers, country teams and executive leadership. The role is an opportunity to implement best practices for insights and analytics to create new processes and protocols.

- Drive to "so-what’s" by making actionable recommendations routed in deep understanding of marketing, business, and consumer via primary research & business analytics – across Cross Border eCommerce three primary channels of Business To Consumer (“B2C”), Offline to Online (“O2O”) and Business to Business (“B2B”).
- Triangulate knowledge across multiple data sources and come up with clear conclusions.
- Validate shipment data to in-market consumption
- Contribute to establishing an insight-led team culture with best practice sharing across processes and protocols
- Support marketing to increase measurability and effectiveness with media return on investment analysis
- Support new product innovation launches with consumer-led insights
- Act as a sounding board for insights and analytics on Cross Border eCommerce during strategic planning cycles
- Lead learning plans to deliver business strategies and goals.
- Strongly partner with affiliate, regional and central/global Market Insights team to constantly challenge the status quo to provide true business insights behind the performance.

- Champion Revenue Growth Management initiatives for Cross Border eCommerce, partnering with Area Analytics Director to drive efficiency/ effectiveness of every dollar spent.
- Lead and align with key stakeholders on quarterly planning cycles: market/share forecast, sale overview, consumption growth model.
- Partner with commercial team to drive commercial outcomes: long term demand planning, innovation, revenue growth management

MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Work Experience:
- Strong experience in online syndicated data such as Nielsen Retail Audit, Smartpath and/or Kantar Panel. Expertise in aligning consumer consumption data to To Market Sales data.
- At least 8 years working experience in Consumer market research. Cross-functional experience preferred. Consumer Products Goods or Health Products experience desirable. Prior Cross Border eCommerce experience is preferred.
- Experienced in Primary Market Research including Qualitative and Quantitative including Consumer & HCPs Tracking Studies, Innovation Validation as well as Communication Research
- Data Analytic experience such as Marketing Mix Modelling, Statistic forecasting (time series / regression analysis), Pricing models.
- Team Management
Core Skill Requirement:
- Strong financial and business acumen. Expertise with custom research methods, both qualitative and quantitative. Custom research experience to include concept and communication validation, usage & attitudes, market drivers, to brand health tracking.
- Expertise leveraging syndicated services (Nielsen Retail Audit and Kantar Panel Data)
- Strong analytical skills and software skills, including Excel and Power BI (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated track record of managing budgets and external agency partnerships.
Core Trait/Behavior Requirement:
- Ability to lead and partner with multiple stakeholders on key strategic projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Can organize and lead cross functional teams.
- Able to lead a cross functional team.
- Cross functional exposure preferable.
Language Skill
- Fluent in English and Chinese
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree or Above
