Sr R&D Test Engineer

What's the role?

• Acting as primary contact for the E2E test team for our Product & Technology Function interfacing various Product & Services teams;
• Acting as primary contact for the development teams, program teams, E2E test team and our Business Systems team on deployment and release activities on Business Systems applications;
• Execute feature test cases, clearly communicate findings and proactively gather status updates of fixes;
• Design well-structured test steps, ensuring test cases with comprehensive coverage;
• Identify the use cases to automate and develop Test Automation using selected frameworks;
• Responsible for deployment activities as part of the broader Release Management role including the support of CI/CD-tooling;
• Creates and manage intuitive reports to measure our Business systems data quality;
• Defines the appropriate quality processes, benchmarks and sets these standards together with the team;
• Think like users/ customers of our Business Systems, provide feedback and contribute to ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement.

Who are you?

• 5+ years of experience in Test Engineering and Quality Assurance for Software Development;
• Expertise in Automation Testing tool playwright.
• Works well in a dynamic DevOps environment including CI/CD, Gitlab Jenkins.
• UI and API Test Automation (using tools like Selenium webdriver, cypress, Rest Assured, Jmeter etc.)
• Skilled in at least one programming / scripting language such as Java, Python, Javascript etc;
• Test Framework development and maintenance.

• Experience working in iterative projects and with deployment strategies/processes;
• Highly organized, detail oriented, and ability to work independently;
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
• Test Framework development and maintenance.
