For the Strategic Projects team in Hillerod we are looking for a Sr. Project manager.

Preferably you have a chemical, mechanical or process engineering background and experience from the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry.

Strategic Projects is part of our Capital Projects Unit organized in the Engineering Operation function on the site in Hillerød.

Capital Projects is responsible for the Capital portfolio and budget on the site in Hillerød. Capital Projects manage and execute CapEx projects.

This includes leading the CapEx projects through the entire live cycle from the early conceptual phases until handover. As a Project Manager, you will lead the projects through all phases of the projects and be responsible for a safe project execution with no safety incidents, GMP incidents or other unintended interruptions of the daily operations.

Capital Projects currently provides key staff resources for several large strategic capital projects as well as small capital projects on the site in Hillerod. In this position you will play an important role as project manager. You will be heading your projects and lead your project teams. You will be organized in the line organization reporting to the Director of Strategic Projects.

In Strategic Projects you will be part of a team of 8 colleagues based in Hillerod. You will be managing a wide range of CapEx projects varying in size and complexity. Your specific responsibilities will be control and management of scope, schedule and cost of capital projects. You will drive the project governance structure and manage the design, construction, safety, and quality activities including CQV in the projects you lead.

In this position, your projects will have focus related to the Drug Product area (isolator filling line, inspection, formulation, associated support process and DP clean room facilities) as well as the Finished Goods area (assembly and packaging). This will also be heading the CapEx part of technology transfer projects of new products and processes in the DP and FG area.

Drug Product and Finished Goods facility knowledge and process design experience from the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry is an advantage for this position, as you should have the capability to understand the scope and drive proper decision taking in the projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Project management of capital projects in accordance with the project model.
  • Ensure effective project execution with a project team including internal as well as external resources.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of internal policies, procedures, and standard specifications.

Qualifications:

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, preferably within Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.

  • You have a minimum of 5-15 years’ relevant project management- and process engineering experience from the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry.
  • The ideal candidate possesses relevant process and project engineering experience and should be knowledgeable about process systems, facilities, utilities, and production support equipment for drug product and finished goods manufacturing in commercial-scale facilities.
  • You have a good understanding of business processes across the organization and ensures that your projects are setup and organized to meet the specific need.
  • You are a team player with focus on team performance and inclusion of the right skills and competencies.
  • You possess good communication skills in Danish and English
