Job Summary:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for managing telematic vendors and their related products and services to meet business objectives. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating and managing emergent technology, evaluating new hardware models, and preparing regular progress reporting for stakeholders. The incumbent will oversee project timelines, budgets, communications, change requests, and addressing issues and risks as they arise.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:

Manages vendor performance through scorecard processes, holding quarterly business reviews, and determining roadmaps
-
Coordinates scoping and sourcing efforts, including, but not limited to initiating requests for proposals (RFPs) and evaluating new vendor’s technology portfolios

Support the vendor contract process by reviewing for necessary performance language, participating in renewal price negotiations, and ensuring contract completion in a timely manner

Provides input into project budgetary processes and development

Manages issues and project change requests to evaluate alignment with business requirements

Coordinates and leads evaluation of new technology, developing success criteria to test during trial, conducting research, and preparing summaries of findings and recommendations

Identify and test various solutions to provide insights on the best options with respect to functionality and price

Communicates status updates to project stakeholders

Identifies, assesses, and manages risk to the success of the project

Manages the implementation process from initiation to close
-
Coordinates tasks from internal and external stakeholders; monitors task completion and follows up to maintain timeline and performance standards
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination or education, experience, and training with 4 years of related experience

AND experience with one or more of the following: DB2, MS SQL database systems, Java, Elasticsearch, Angular JS, Microsoft Azure, JMeter, Junit, Spring, Boot, Typescript, Active MQ, and Tomcat
Preferred Qualifications:

Compensation:
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
