Sr Product Manager

What's the role?
HERE is looking for a Senior Product Manager in the US to join our Product organization and help manage and evolve HERE's market leading HD Map for Urban environments, defining and driving the product strategy aligned with broader organizational strategies and ensuring expected business outcomes. You will balance market, customer and internal stakeholder requirements, defining the product roadmap, and driving the delivery of optimized set of features across all stakeholders. You will be the primary product evangelist, both internally and externally.
You will work with our internal and external customers and play a key role in customer driven product development. You will lead a comprehensive product strategy - from product conception and definition, through end of life. This includes the identification and validation of market problems, the collection of market information from both a technical and a commercial point of view, and the translation into product strategy and product requirements. You will oversee the positioning of the products in the market, creation, and execution of plans for sales readiness and marketing activities.
You create and maintain a product roadmap that illustrates the vision and key phases of product deliverables.
You will lead the orchestration of product management and its stakeholders in design, engineering, quality, testing, product marketing, and product operations as the product(s) move(s) through their lifecycle. You define the strategy and lead execution of long-term plans for products. This includes products' business case creation and maintenance, as well as cost/profit control. You focus on market needs and insights to promote the use of new technologies and industry-leading trends.

You are accountable for the performance and results of a significant Product portfolio. You will be successful in the role with the following:

• Achieve successful product launches in complex technology areas
• A demonstrated record of partnering with various teams in a complex (matrix) environment
• Ability to manage by influence
• Ability to operate at big picture level and dive into details where needed
• Experience in areas of our field of work, i.e., automotive, ADAS, automated driving, cloud services, automotive software, map data, Navigation Data Standard (NDS)
• Ability to collect, aggregate, validate, and formulate product requirements from customers and translation into product portfolio, product requirements, and roadmaps
• Experience in the automotive industry with respect to engagement models, and RFx procedures with OEMs
• Create and maintain a product roadmap that illustrates the vision and key phases of product deliverables.
• Establish identification of key landmarks and triggers to be implemented in vision perception, to create and update HD Maps.
• Drive key performance indices for real-time map updates, critical data pipeline inputs, latency requirements, and scalability.
• Develop differentiated business models for collaborating with Automotive OEMs, Tier1s, Cloud solution providers, Map providers and beyond.
• Oversee the positioning of the products in the market, creation, and execution of plans for sales readiness and marketing activities.
