As communities globally address the opportunities and challenges of cardiovascular care, telling a compelling and authentic story is more crucial than ever. Beyond raising awareness, our Marketing teams build lasting, trusted relationships with medical professionals and industry stakeholders to ensure patients can receive the treatments they need.

TMTT is dedicated to solving the complex challenges of mitral and tricuspid disease, to transform treatment and to significantly improve patients’ lives.  This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and highly motivated program management professional to join a team that is boldly designing transcatheter mitral and tricuspid therapies from the ground up.
The Innovation Program Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving successful execution of projects from concept through commercialization. This role requires strong cross-functional leadership and communication, as well as the ability to manage multiple complex projects in a highly regulated environment. As a Senior Manager on the Innovation PMO team, the program you drive will support TMTT’s strategic imperatives and provide cutting edge, life-saving products to patients around the world.

How you will make an impact:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of innovation projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements

  • Responsible for project scope alignment, detailed timeline development and tracking, dependency management, and proactive risk and issue management

  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination, create trusted partnerships with stakeholders, and ensure strong communication throughout all levels of the organization

  • Track program performance using appropriate tools and metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders throughout all levels of the organization, including the leadership team

  • Manage design and phase gate reviews, design history files, project documentation, and project closure activities

  • Create effective working relationships within the PMO organization to ensure continued program health, as well as to develop consistency within PMO by sharing best practices and lessons learned and collaborating on continuous improvement activities

What you will need (required):

  • 10+ years of experience in program/project management in the medical device or healthcare industry; implant experience strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; a technical degree is a plus

  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, including design control, risk management, and regulatory submissions

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced dynamic environment

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g. MS Project, SmartSheet, etc.) and PM methodologies

  • Excellent organization and communication skills are required; influencing others at all levels of the organization is essential

This role is ideal for a results-driven program management professional with the ability to build trusted partnerships with cross-functional teams and who is passionate about delivering high-quality medical devices to improve the lives of patients. If you thrive in a challenging and rewarding environment, we invite you to apply to join TMTT and help shape mitral and tricuspid therapies that will transform treatment for patients.

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

What We Do

Edwards Lifesciences (NYSE: EW), is the global leader in patient-focused medical innovations for structural heart disease, as well as critical care and surgical monitoring. We thrive on discovery and expanding the boundaries of medical technology, serving patients in 100+ countries, with the help of our employees in areas including Clinical Affairs, Quality Engineering, Research & Development, Regulatory Affairs, Sales & Marketing, corporate functions and more.

Our roots date back to 1958 when Miles Lowell Edwards, a retired engineer with a background in hydraulics and fuel pump operations, set out to build the first artificial heart. Edwards believed the heart could be mechanized and was encouraged by Dr. Albert Starr to focus on developing an artificial heart valve. After just two years, the first Starr-Edwards mitral valve was developed and successfully placed in a patient. This innovation spawned Edwards Laboratories. Miles’ fascination with healing the heart and helping patients with heart disease stemmed from his own experience with rheumatic fever as a teenager and continues to fuel our patient-first culture today.

Today, we are as passionate about providing innovative solutions for people fighting cardiovascular disease as we have ever been. It's our Credo. It takes integrity, collaboration, innovation, and focus. We are leaders in the design and manufacture of tissue replacement heart valves and repair products as well as advanced hemodynamic monitoring. We partner with physicians to innovate products designed to help patients live longer, healthier, and more productive lives.

Our work is both rewarding and a privilege. The importance of what we do defines our approach. We work together to create an environment where ideas can flourish and we provide our people with the resources, expertise and support to bring those ideas to life.
