How you’ll make an impact:

  • Develop and lead in the implementation of tender & contracts strategies, identify risks, project manage tender responses, perform outcome analysis, and increase revenue opportunities.

  • Effectively manage and oversee the work of a team towards a common goal in line with company strategy. Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of the department. Accountable for productivity and quality metrics of staff, and provide regular standard progress reports and quality metrics to management and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Close partnership with the business; sharing data, leveraging solutions and best practices across BUs on tenders and contract strategies.

  • Represent Bids, Tenders and Contracts department on regional level and in projects with medium complexity; Explore alternative models, system and tools efficiency and continuous process improvements.

  • Engage in Customer interactions in order to support contracts execution and strategies.

  • Perform complex data analysis and generate reports.

  • Remains up to date with local and regional tender requirements and participation in relevant local MedTech initiatives.

  • Representing function in CLT

  • Oversee all contracts to ensure compliance with established BU guidelines and legislation, including securing appropriate approvals. Representing B&T in internal/external audits, cooperation with auditor, development of risk mitigation strategies.

What you’ll need:

  • Proven successful leadership skills.

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite; SFDC experience is an advantage

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian, including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, critical thinking skills and strict attention to detail.

  • Proven understanding of contract or bid managements procedures while addressing issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of related disciplines.

  • Expert knowledge of contract terms and conditions.

  • Strong knowledge of commercial and business acumen.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage assigned team and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations.

  • Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of contract or bid management to the business.

  • Develop relationships and leverage them to influence change.

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization.

  • Frequently interacts with customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company; often leads a cooperative effort among members of a project team.

  • Participate and present at meetings with internal and external representatives.

  • Dedicated to quality client service and pro-active and responsive to client needs.

  • Develop peer, cross functional and cross business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness.
