Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and talented Senior Marketing Manager to join our team. This role demands a creative, curious thinker with exceptional graphic design and presentation skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently across a wide range of marketing initiatives. You’ll be instrumental in helping Databook position its agentic workflows to both prospective and existing customers through compelling visuals, clear messaging, and cross-functional marketing support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Slide Design & Visual Storytelling:
    • Create professional, visually engaging slides and decks that clearly communicate Databook's agentic workflows to prospective and existing customers.
    • Translate complex concepts into simple, effective visuals and designs for use across marketing materials.
  • Web Content Updates:
    • Help maintain and update web pages, ensuring accurate and engaging content aligned with Databook's messaging and positioning.
  • Content Development:
    • Draft and edit blog posts, leveraging your understanding of Databook's offerings to craft engaging, informative content.
  • Marketing Event Support:
    • Execute tasks for marketing events, ensuring all materials and deliverables meet the highest standards and are delivered on time.
  • Competitive Intelligence Management:
    • Build and maintain an automated competitive intelligence feed or digest (e.g., into Slack) to keep the team informed of key developments in the industry.
  • Resource Organization:
    • Organize and maintain marketing resources in systems like the Databook Way and Canva team, ensuring assets are up to date and easily accessible.
  • Cross-Functional Marketing Support:
    • Execute a wide range of marketing initiatives across teams, demonstrating agility and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 8-10 years of marketing experience, with proven expertise in graphic design and slide creation.
    • Experience in B2B product marketing, enterprise sales, or technology sectors is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • High proficiency in graphic design and presentation tools (e.g., Figma, Google Slides, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
    • Required experience with website updates and management using WordPress.
    • Strong aptitude for learning and using new software and AI tools.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Exceptional visual storytelling and design skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
    • A curious and self-motivated learner who proactively identifies solutions.
    • Highly comfortable working in a small, agile marketing team with frequent pivots and blurred roles.
    • Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment.
    • Willingness to take on non-traditional marketing roles and handle everything from strategy to execution.
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Familiarity with competitive intelligence tools or methods.
    • Understanding of agentic AI concepts or willingness to learn
