Fluidra is looking for a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT.

  

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE  

This role ensures that all activities in his/her production area are in order so that efficient production can take place daily. The candidate must effectively manage the resources in the department and aid. Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes and supports the engineering function by analyzing designs for manufacturing and assembly.  Performs cost estimating, prepares bill of materials and plans and justifies capital equipment. Additionally, you will: 

  • Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods. 
  • Plans manufacturing and assembly processes by analyzing designs to determine the best manufacturing methods. 
  • Documents manufacturing processes.  Creates and manages manufacturing work instructions. 
  • Creates and Modifies product CAD documentation (parts, assemblies, drawings) as needed. 
  • Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. 
  • Analyzes and plans workspace requirements and workflow, designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. 
  • Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. 
  • Determines, specifies and justifies capital equipment needs. 
  • Confers with suppliers to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. 
  • Designs and performs product testing and analysis as needed. 
  • Performs quality assurance functions as needed to ensure high levels of quality in manufacturing. 

WHAT WE SEEK

  • CAD platforms (SolidWorks) 
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), E-mail 
  • Experience with an ERP system preferred 

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) in Engineering or other related field from four-year college or university
