The Sr Manager, UX provides day-to-day leadership and tactical direction to a team(s) and provides input for the overall user experience (UX) strategy based on project experiences and learnings and works through the team to ensure design strategies and standards are applied consistently across projects. The Sr Manager assists in executing the direction set by the UX director for the overall user experience for the products built and deployed by the technology organization. The Sr Manager is largely accountable for people management, career growth, processes, and UX standards/influence across the team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Informs internal design methodologies and processes and translates the UX strategy into tactical direction for design team members.
- Ensures high-level UX company standards are consistently applied across projects; seeks to evolve design methodologies and processes with changing industry trends, tools, and technologies.
- Facilitates the collaboration of team members with cross-functional partners as well as productive, two-way dialogue between the design team and technology partners.
- Creates and/or leads the creation of standard operating procedures and objectives and key results to be consistent across UX designs, products, and team deliverables.
- Controls project risks by analyzing and identifying trigger events, establishing contingency plans, and recommending ways to mitigate future risks. Resolves escalated design problems at the project or product level.
- Leads a team in support of achieving the company's mission. Manages performance and fosters an inclusive environment to help associates achieve their potential.

Required Qualifications: • 8 years of experience in UX design, product management, or related area• 3 years of experience leading project or technical teams with or without formal direct report responsibility; this includes experience providing technical direction, thought leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members• Experience leading a large-scale team/project within an Agile environment• Bachelor's degree in related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
