Job Summary
Salary Range: $125,000.00 to $160,000.00
Position is eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan with a target of 14% of the base salary.
Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills and abilities.

This position is responsible for the supply chain management processes at the US Warrendale site which include Production Planning, Procurement coordination, warehousing, distribution and supply chain management activities of medical device finished goods and other products from suppliers or FK manufacturing facilities through delivery to customers, distributors, or other global FK regions. This position is as well responsible for all future growth and development opportunities for the Warrendale site. In this role the candidate acts as business partner to the Head of Tech Ops devices, Global Procurement, Market Units and the Warrendale Plant. The Sr. Manager works with the R&D team and Global Procurement to strategically source material for all new product launches.
Position will supervise professional staff, which includes both the Warehouse team, as well as, the planning team, on a direct line basis. In addition, this position will work closely with the direct procurement team to coordinate supply activities. This position will utilize a variety of supply chain concepts, practices and procedures, along with project management aspects related to supporting the marketing unit demand and the production team output, both for devices and spares. This seasoned position relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan the material required to support the build plan but not to overburden the plant with inventory.
Responsibilities
The Sr Manager Supply Chain is responsible for the production planning, material handling, product shipping and coordination with direct and indirect procurement teams at Warrendale for sourcing activities. Responsible for:
- Driving the monthly S&OP process to collaborate and align across functions
- Driving strategic savings initiatives that enable competitive advantage
- Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments
- Providing supply chain metrics for continuous improvement
- Working within material lead times, and
- Managing on hand inventory levels
- This position is responsible for providing budget standard costs for direct materials used in bills of material.
- Manages the Production Planning to include working with the Marketing Unit to receive forecast, and to use that data to determine production build plan
- Oversee the development, monitoring, and analysis of key sourcing metrics to enhance the lean platform objectives.
- Responsible for creating the production plan for finished devices, as well as, spare parts production
- Manages the planning of material and scheduling of its use in the production process
- Provides input for the budget and forecast process
- Initiates production reporting for manufacturing efficiencies and works towards continuous improvement
- Receives the forecasting files and converts to build plan through meetings with the marketing leads and/or GPM, and plant staff to solidify ongoing build plan. In addition, to understand and manage inventory levels to both accommodate build plan while concurrently driving to meet finance goals on inventory level and turnover.
- Supervise, develop and build a strong team through motivation, direction and individual accountability.
- Understands manufacturing key performance drivers and participates in problem solving to improve safety, quality, and productivity
- Conducts all planning activities in alignment with the procurement department and in compliance with company policy and objectives.
- Serves as the main point of contact for the GPMs across all product platforms. Works with them to understand forecast and delivery. Also, first to become aware of volume changes, works to accommodate changes in the form of a revised build plan and disseminates impact to finance, as well as the production team.
- Understands and works proficiently with SAP for both procurement and planning functions.
- Establishes effective purchasing procedures for the plant. Establishes goals and objectives for improved performance of each reporting function. Responsible for compliance with cGMP within each responsibility center of each materials function.
- Manages all aspects of SAP, relating to the MM (Materials Management) modules at the facility level and acts as a SAP SME (Subject Matter Expert) resource.
- Participates in the development of and execute strategies for Warrendale’s warehouse and transportation activities to ensure adequate flow of materials and products.
- Manages Warrendale’s raw material and finished goods inventory and on-site FK medical device Supply Chain Quality employees.
- Develops and implements inventory management strategies and reporting tools to monitor and maintain appropriate inventory stocking levels to support production objectives.
- Develops, implement, and monitor FK medical device quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure product quality requirements are implemented and maintained at warehouse locations.
- Manages annual budget for warehouse and planning costs.
- Provide detailed financial and operation analysis related to inventory management and warehousing budget and projects.
- Implement and maintain a comprehensive KPI program to monitor key performance metrics related to supply and inventory management and develop a correction action process to resolve performance deficiencies.
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in support of strategic initiatives both within the supply chain.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Master’s degree in management or finance preferred
- Minimum 8+ years related experience
- 3+ years of management experience
- Strong management and communication skills, especially focused on staff development.
- Excellent computer skills, including complex financial modeling in Excel, expertise in Word and ability to design, manage and use relational financial databases such as Hyperion
- Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems
