Job Summary:
You will lead and develop a high performing team to build new capabilities in supplier management to help Zoro exceed our customers expectations in regards to getting the right products, right away. You will be expected to be a thought leader in supply chain management strategies and partner cross-functionally to influence change and behaviors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Owns all aspects of Supplier Management as it relates to operations including but not limited to inventory availability, canceled orders, on time shipping, and lead time management.
- Lead strategy development for operational requirements across our supply base
- Guide strategy and tactics that improve sales performance and customer retention
- Develop and implement performance metrics, surveys, scorecards and processes aligned with organization priorities to track KPIs/SLAs and assess risk related to achieving objectives
- Lead a team of Supplier Managers and Associate Supplier Managers in strategic operations related to supplier operations management
- Stabilize existing processes by instituting controls and ensuring proper documentation is maintained and followed while eliminating waste and implementing creative solutions to problems.
- Quickly assesses supply and demand for key products in response to a disaster or emergency (hurricane, ice storm, pandemic, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10-15 years' experience in a related field. BA/BS or related experience required. MBA or Master Degree preferred
- Strong working knowledge of e-commerce business strategies especially best practices for 3rd party supplier management and order fulfillment.
- Demonstrated experience with effective interaction with internal management, supplier management and customers. Ability to foster, manage and leverage relationships at varying levels internally & externally up to the executive level.
- Strong leadership skills to work through change management, coaching for performance, and talent management strategies
- Ability to influence decisions with teams without direct management responsibility.
- Strong financial acumen, with a focus on understanding the cost/benefit of varying solutions.
- Proven ability to lead successful teams by driving large volumes of high quality work, coaching team members for maximum professional growth and inspiring maximum team member engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to embrace change, demonstrate agility in relation to change and persuade/lead others through the change to minimize team disruption. Ensure a continuously high performing team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation:
Below is the anticipated base pay compensation range for this position. This position is eligible for participation in our short-term incentive program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
The range provided is not a guarantee of compensation. The range reflects the potential base pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills.
The anticipated compensation range described below is subject to change and the compensation ultimately paid may be higher or lower than the range described above.
