Meet the team:

The Senior Manager of Statistical Programming is a leadership role which manages a team of statistical programmers in the research and development of new device products. This position is primarily responsible for the design, development and implementation of technical solutions for integrating, analyzing and reporting clinical data. This role must effectively interface with key stakeholders (i.e. Statistics, Clinical Data Management, Medical Writing)

  • You will lead the programming activities for multiple projects.
  • You must ensure timely deliverables with good quality control.
  • You will lead a team of programmers and manage the resource planning for assigned staff.
  • You must develop and oversee the development of SAS programs for the statistical analysis and the creation of Datasets, Tables, Listings and Figures.
  • You will lead the development of standard operating procedures and create SOP/Process for Statistical Programming team.
  • You will lead the development and validation of SAS Macros.
  • You will effectively manage, mentor and develop career development plans for direct reports.
  • You will participate in study meetings and are viewed as a key contributor to cross functional initiatives.

What makes you successful:

  • You have experience in Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science or a related field
  • You have demonstrated management experience supervising technical professionals.
  • You must have In-depth understanding of SAS programming concepts and techniques and SQL database.
  • You must have In-depth working experience on CDISC Standards.
  • You will represent the Statistical Programming Organization in cross functional teams.
  • Have ability to accurately estimate the effort of programming activities and manage the project timeline.
  • Knowledge in SQL, R, Python, or any other computer language skill is highly valued

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 13+ years of industry experience.
  • Requires a degree in a technical discipline.
  • 5 – 8 years of previous people management experience.  

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.

$156,400.00 - $260,600.00
