Position: M4 – Sr Manager – Precision Converter Software Group, - SSG
Role calls for blend of technical acumen, project ownership and leadership ability to ensure that the projects are executed efficiently and align to the overall business objectives of SSG and PCG BU.
The ideal candidate is a self motivated individual and brings in high energy with a track record of execution, and the ability to communicate and work effectively with business and technical teammates at different levels in the organization.
Key Responsibilities and duties
Creating and executing a overarching software/hardware strategy for customer evaluation and prototyping for our DAC/ADC portfolios Alignment on SW GTM strategy for the BU that aligns with the overall precision converter strategy.
Technical Oversight:
Provide technical direction and support for firmware projects, reviews, best practices, and forwarding looking implementation guidelines. Alignment with the enablement organization for consistent practices.
Collaboration and communication with various stake holders (BUs, Tools/ACE team, Enablement team)

Qualifications:
- Education and Experience
- BS required/Masters preferred in Engineering
- 10+ years of industry experience preferably in the below skill set.
- Strong firmware development knowledge in C and C++.
- Expertise in low level drivers for the various peripherals.
- Complete knowledge of standard software development process like documenting the requirements, Code reviews, JIRA, Jenkins, Github enterprise etc.
- Knowledge of the RTOS environment and experience of designing embedded solution using the RTOS. Insights into the roadmap on how the market is heading towards emerging platforms like Zephyr

- Project scoping, deliverables, coordination with cross functional teams
- Providing a seamless out of box experience to Precision customers by working closely with the enablement organization.
- Supporting the customer facing organizations for customer design in/win.
- Delivering an easy to use/plug and play solution for customers and Field/Factory apps engineers, reducing time to get setup and working, avoiding friction in the design in journey. Alignment on eval platform strategy with BU and the enablement organization
