Are you an experienced project manager looking to be part of an innovative, dynamic, fast paced and growing organization? GSK’s Oncology team is looking for a Sr Manager Marketing Operations Planning to drive tactical compliant execution, oversight and process simplification across various projects, including but limited to key congresses.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Provide project management support, examples included but not limited to future launch plans, actively monitor for progress against key milestones, and work with functional leads to regularly provide updates
- Lead congress planning sessions that include commercial and medical stakeholders and ensure compliant execution of key congress activities.
- Manage vendor relationships
- Support routing tier 1/2 congress materials through the promotional review process (eg BML/ AML / Portfolio )
- Continuously assess the efficiency of current processes and proactively identify, recommend, and implement process improvements
- Serve as a change agent / champion for the OBU
- Partner with multiple brand teams and key stakeholders to understand business objectives and strategic imperatives to successfully drive planning processes and timely execution
- Attend PRT Meetings as needed or requested, liaison between brand and reviewers to build relationships, address concerns, assist in accelerating over all process
- Accountable to track and build a view to future PRT volume for brands, informing future resourcing levels across stakeholder teams.
- Provide ad hoc operational support for the business unit such as development of templates for BU presentations, communications etc as needed
- Lean into IBC teams, assist in coordination and meeting management to ensure smooth operations and timely execution / pull through
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 8 years Pharmaceutical industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- MBA
- PMPI Certification / Project Management experience
- Demonstrated Marketing planning and execution capabilities
- Vendor management experience
- Continuous improvement and change management skills
- Oncology experience, Oncology launch experience
- Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented
- Strong collaboration skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and advanced PPT skills
- Entrepreneurial, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
