Sr. Manager – Logistical Operations position:
Essential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities):
- Meets warehouse financial standards by monitoring operational best practices and maintaining efficiency.
- Uses and develops digital tooling to maintain accurate data of employee touches in the picking, palletizing, and shipping process.
- Build a complete plan to meet the inbound and outbound requirements needed to meet the needs of the projects
- Create KPIs per person and per process to accurately measure performance in real-time, develop Power BI dashboards to report out weekly, and provide solutions when deficiencies are discovered.
- Travel to project sites to understand difficulties from team in real-world scenario.
- Develop or update existing SOPs as the business develops, communicate to team, and ensure compliance.
- Meets safety goals by ensuring 100% compliance with company Safety Program.
- Delivers supplies, materials, and and equipment to projects by receiving and transferring items through the material request and scheduling process..
- Maintains assigned warehouse space area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
- Maintains inventory by conducting periodic physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data, and controlling quality of daily shipments to each project.
- Ensure warehouse access is controlled in a safe and effective manner.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed by each project.
- Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
- Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse operational improvements.
- Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
- Keeps warehouse equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Directly responsible for hiring, leading, and managing a crew up to 40 employees
Required Education and Experience:
- 10+ years as a Sr. Manager in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- 10+ years in leading warehouse teams
- Bachelor degree in relative field
- Proficient in Quality Control Processes
- Proficient with all MS office programs
- Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Experienced analyzing data and reporting

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Weekend and Holiday work will vary depending on business needs.
Travel:
Ability to travel on short notice to project sites
Supervisory Responsibility: Supervises warehouse employees.
