As a Learning Project Manager supporting the business goals and objectives of Research and Development, you will be responsible for diverse and innovative modalities of learning experiences throughout Alcon. This role is based in Fort Worth, TX.
In this role a typical day will include:
- Acting as strategic business partner with key collaborators to define desired organizational learning outcomes and develop the appropriate learning solutions and deliverables, including key performance indicators aligned to organizational performance.
- Influencing business decisions by providing recommendations rooted in expertise and organizational understanding, including instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Building implementation plans that result in high-quality participant experiences, scalable processes, ongoing program sustainability and cost-effective resource use.
- Seeing opportunities for business process improvements within project scope
- Conducting needs assessments and using data-driven insights to identify skill gaps and development opportunities for R&D Associates
- Facilitating professional development and learning programs, workshops, events, and activities
What You’ll Bring to Alcon:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent year of directly related experience (or high school + 15 yrs; Assoc. +11 yrs; M.S. +4 yrs; PHD +3 yrs.
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
- 7 Years of Relevant Experience
- Travel: up to 5%
- Relocation: NO
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in L&D/OD, Science or Engineering, MS or MBA
- Experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical
