Disney Experiences (DX) brings stories, characters and franchises to life through Parks & Resorts, toys, apps, apparel, books, and stores. You will be part of the Disney Experiences Labor Systems team which provides holistic system strategy, optimization, and support for labor, training, and operations support systems across domestic sites. The role of Senior Manager - Labor Systems leads testing, business integration, and advancement of systems and processes used to manage the complex labor needs for Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Aulani, and associated businesses (Disney Vacation Club, Disney Cruise Line Shoreside, Facility and Operations Services).
You will report to Director - Labor Systems.
What You Will Do

  • Lead teams responsible for product roadmap planning, change management, testing, and delivery of system changes and new functionality
  • Lead teams responsible for execution and optimization of system testing efforts. This includes functional unit testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing across a wide variety of existing systems, and new systems that are in active development.
  • Develop and prioritize ongoing work, including project delivery, sustainment and administration of current production systems
  • Lead integration efforts with key business and technology partners - including Technology, Operations Training, Workforce Management, Operations, LOB partners, HRIS, Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Human Resources, and others
  • Identify and influence strategic integration opportunities across DX organizations to further technical innovation and segment and site-specific priorities
  • Consult and partner with international DX sites on labor and data strategic planning and system integration
  • Champion development of relationship skills, technical skills, and product & project management skill sets across teams and partner areas
  • Translate technical language into business value driven stories and promote Labor Systems and related work and innovation through networking opportunities across the enterprise & among external partners and vendors
  • Drive cross-functional work efforts by effectively partnering with peer teams within and outside of Labor Systems


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 5-7+ years of experience developing or leading system and/or data solutions in a high-volume environment
  • Experience leading or closely supporting operational teams
  • Experience leading leaders of teams
  • Demonstrated experience working with complex data sets
  • Extensive experience collaborating both virtually and in-person, along with strong storytelling skills - and a strength in relaying technical content in a simple and engaging way
  • Experience delivering technology projects an Agile methodology
  • Knowledge of workforce management concepts
  • Ability to manage and support multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with upstream/downstream data integration and reporting
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives and tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with SQL, SAS, and/or Python languages


Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business or a related field or equivalent work experience
