As a Sr Manager FP&A, MFA Planning & Ops supporting the Pricing and Promotions Center of Excellence (PPCOE), you will:

  • Develop and coordinate financial routines (LRP, Plan, Forecast) for clearance and promotional markdown spend in close partnership with the PPCOE, Planning, and Merchandise Finance teams.
  • Manage performance to financial goals, along with identifying risks and opportunities that incorporate strategic actions taken by the business.
  • Provide key event recapping, weekly actions meeting updates, and other weekly or monthly reporting. 
  • Coordinate in-season performance management routines and tools. Collaborate with PPCOE, Loyalty, and Merchandise Finance teams to aggregate in-season reviews, decisions, and actions.
  • Strategic partner that supports and influences key initiatives (e.g. affordability, promo measurement evolution, Circle) through business case development that combines both analytical and storytelling skills.

About you:

  • Four-year college degree, preferably in finance or business-related area. MBA a plus.
  • 6+ years finance experience and/or business experience
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Credible thought leader with enthusiasm, initiative and a passion for results
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong analytical, decision making, project management, planning and organizational skills.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
