About the Role:
As the Sr. Manager of Enterprise Product Innovation at WEX Inc., you will lead a dynamic team tasked with identifying and incubating transformative growth opportunities for the company. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Innovation & Excellence, you will oversee a small but high-performing group of product managers, designers, and engineers dedicated to rapidly validating new concepts, delivering prototypes, and launching products that redefine how WEX serves its B2B customers.
This is a pivotal leadership role within WEX’s incubator for new growth products. You will guide the team in navigating ambiguity, applying modern product discovery practices, and leveraging cutting-edge technologies like AI to create solutions that address unmet customer needs and drive meaningful business impact.

Strategic Leadership:

Define and drive the strategic vision for WEX’s Enterprise Product Innovation team, ensuring alignment with company growth goals.

Oversee a portfolio of high-potential new product initiatives, managing prioritization and resource allocation.

Partner with corporate and Digital strategy teams to ensure prioritization aligns with market dynamics and competitive advantage.

Innovation Execution:

Lead the team in conducting deep customer research, uncovering market opportunities, and validating product-market fit through rapid testing.

Champion the use of generative AI, data, and cutting-edge technologies to reimagine product opportunities and development workflows.

Coach and mentor the Innovation teams in hypothesis-driven experimentation, and delivering customer-centric solutions.

Stakeholder Partnership:

Drive confidence by framing clear innovation OKRs that ladder to business goals.

Act as a bridge between the innovation team and senior leadership, effectively communicating progress, insights, and strategic recommendations.

Foster partnerships across WEX’s business units, encouraging cross-functional collaboration and alignment.

Implement frameworks for tracking, measuring, and evaluating the success of innovation initiatives.

Experience You'll Bring:

Required Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

7+ years in product management, innovation, or strategy roles, with at least 2 years managing high-performing teams.

Proven track record of leading 0-to-1 product development and delivering new-to-market solutions.

Experience working with AI, data-driven products, and modern SaaS technologies.

Familiarity with agile methodologies, rapid prototyping, and hypothesis-driven development.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
