Position Description

TTI Canada is looking for an energetic Sr. Manager, Employee Experience to join our dynamic Human Resources team! At TTI Canada, our culture is critical to our success.

In this critical role, you will lead the employee experience team and develop and execute innovative solutions to drive TTI’s culture and employee engagement, while overseeing HR consulting support. You will identify the employee moments that matter and leverage data to ensure a best-in-class employee experience. You will lead employee engagement initiatives, including engagement surveys, and use data to determine opportunities to continually nurture our high-performing culture and ensure a sense of belonging for our employees that work across the country.

Reporting to the Vice President Recruiting, Training and Talent, Head of HR for TTI Canada, you will lead a team of two Senior HR Consultants and be a key member of the HR leadership team. You should apply if you are a seasoned manager with experience in organizational development and as an HR Business Partner, with the desire and potential for future advancement to a Director role; you are passionate about the employee experience, have strong influencing skills with your own data-driven perspective on how to improve culture.

While TTI Canada believes in and offers flexibility, this role is an in-office position based out of our Canadian Headquarters at the 404 and Steeles Ave. in Toronto, which is the center of TTI’s culture. As a key driver of TTI’s culture you need to be where the action is!

What You Will Do

  • Create annual plans for you and your team to deliver on the strategic focus on nurture the culture, along with creating and managing related project plans
  • Drive the award-winning employee experience story and streamline the experience through communications content, channels and branding
  • Drive a culture of growth, high performance, and positive employee relations
  • Build strong relationships with employees and leaders across the organization to support a best-in-class employee experience and drive a high-performance culture
  • Collaborate with your colleagues to share data and insights to develop employee programs, drive functional excellence and process improvements resulting in an increased employee experience
  • Ensure strong employee engagement through leading assessment surveys, designing and implementing appropriate programs, and providing support to leaders to increase engagement scores
  • Increase the in-office presence by encouraging employees to be in attendance through the culture and events
  • Ensure your team is effectively managing employee relations issues and conducting investigations effectively and efficiently while staying ahead of legislative compliance requirements 
  • Assess the reactive employee relations issues that your team supports to look for opportunities to get ahead of issues and address with a proactive approach
  • Develop key metrics for your team’s success, and measure and forecast results
  • Support your team with coaching managers on leading change, engaging employees, and building capabilities effectively
  • Provide team leadership and ensure you are developing your team to deliver strong results while furthering their growth and development

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources, or a related field - Human Resources Designation is preferred
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Human Resources, ideally in a fast-paced, growing organization with a focus on sales and marketing
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience leading and managing teams
  • Breadth and depth within multiple areas of HR with a focus on organizational development and culture
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to create and execute communication plans that meet expected outcomes
  • Strong experience and expertise with employee relations, including conducting investigations and ensuring compliance with employment related legislation
  • Outcomes focus individual with a history of consistently delivering high quality results
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to focus and deliver on long-term projects while handling day-to-day needs
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships
  • A belief that collaboration is critical to your success and experience working as part of an HR leadership team
  • The ability to think strategically and will also roll-up your sleeves to get work done
  • A data-focused approach and you use data as part of your decision-making process, with the ability to conduct your own data-driven research on the health of the organization
  • Demonstrated experience creating annual plans and proposals
  • You have strong people acumen and emotional intelligence
  • Comfort with an ever-changing work environment, with the ability to pivot as required
  • Proven organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, including strength in PowerPoint and Excel
