General Description:
The Senior Manager of DevOps Engineering will oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of DevOps practices across the team. This role focuses on ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams, maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, and driving automation to enhance the delivery of reliable and scalable solutions.
Essential Functions of the job:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of DevOps tools and infrastructure to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient software delivery across development teams.
- Oversee the integration of modern DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with software engineering, infrastructure, and data science teams to align DevOps strategies with organizational goals.
- Ensure systems are secure, compliant, and resilient by implementing industry best practices for security, disaster recovery, and governance.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within DevOps teams.
- Mentor team members to elevate their technical and operational skills.
- Evaluate and implement emerging tools and technologies to enhance the organization’s DevOps capabilities.

Computer Skills:
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins) and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps tools (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator).
• Experience managing hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
Other Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related field, with 3-5 years in a leadership role.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Salary Range: $158,400.00 - $208,400.00 annually

Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
