Sr Manager Communication

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:
• Develop and execute communication strategies to support the organization's objectives.
• Manage a team of communication professionals, ensuring high-quality work and fostering growth.
• Execute media relations, press releases, and public relations efforts.
• Collaborate with senior management on key messaging and brand positioning.
• Implement internal communication plans to engage employees and align them with company goals.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication initiatives.
• Assist in budget planning and resource allocation for the department.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in communications.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 8+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3+ years in a similar role
• Proven experience in Marketing and Communications
• Proficiencies in strategic communication planning and team supervision
• Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
Other Qualifications:
• An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Public Relations (CPR) or Accredited in Public Relations (APR), or relevant work experience in a managerial role is a plus

Must have a Valid US indefinite Work Permit

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $114,200 - $212,000.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
