Meet the Team:
Highly visible growth opportunity for a Sr. Manager that can translate financial data, market research, and marketing programs into actionable insights for the World-Wide Sales Forecasting Team. Responsibilities include spearheading a forecast methodology, creating a new forecasting model, forecast variance analysis, Average Selling Price (“ASP”) analytics, reviewing revenue drivers, manipulating data, and handling ad-hoc commercial modeling. The position also includes leading all aspects of long-term planning for the eCommerce business. The scope of responsibilities will be for the US.
Where you come in:
Forecasting Experience
- Act as a strategic partner for the Commercial leadership team, along with members from Marketing, Finance, Strategy, Operations, and Project Management
- Develop team members and guide them day to day
- Maintain a complex Forecasting model and look at creative ways to solve problems and provide insights
- Incorporate market research and marketing programs as part of the forecast
- Develop and integrate various commercial analytics to inform key forecast assumptions and to provide a data-driven point of view on the impact of product and market events
- Lead the short-term and long-term forecasts of both inline and upcoming products
- Critical collaborator and coordination with pricing, corporate and regional finance, corporate and regional sales, marketing (particularly for new product introduction), and operations
- Mobilize and model broad and varied scenarios to fuel rolling forecasts, updated automatically with relevant, current information so plans for tomorrow reflect in real-time
- Clearly and concisely present forecast assumptions and results to senior leadership
- Provide forecast to sales operations for IC goal setting and S&OP for manufacturing and planning
- Partner effectively and collaborate with internal divisions to integrate key market dynamics and cross-functional expertise into demand forecasts
- Perform mid-quarter variance analysis to assess the accuracy of forecast and summarize key drivers for senior leadership
What makes you successful:
- 10 years professional experience in a Forecast Analyst or Financial Analyst function, Management Consulting or similar function
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to build logical models
- Direct experience / understanding of Revenue Forecasting
- Basic understanding of database structure and manipulation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Visualization Software, such as Tableau or similar
- Experience with SQL (or similar database language) and AWS
- 5 years life science, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry experience

Experience and Education Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 13+ years of industry experience
- 5-8 years of previous people management experience
