As a key member of the Ads Applied Research team, you’ll help create data-driven insights and innovative solutions that empower creators and elevate Unity’s ad ecosystem to its highest potential. Your work will shape tools and platforms that drive value for our diverse global user base.

What you'll be doing

• Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, generate insights, and solve impactful business challenges.
• Develop and implement data models and algorithms to optimize Unity’s ads marketplace and user engagement tools.
• Partner with multi-functional teams to shape data-driven strategies and communicate actionable findings effectively.
• Explore new datasets and methods to validate hypotheses and strengthen Unity's data science capabilities.
• Drive product innovation by integrating advanced data analysis to inform decision-making and improvements.

What we're looking for

• A proven track record of leveraging data science methods to deliver measurable results and tackle real-world challenges.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar scripting languages for constructing and analyzing statistical models.
• Strong storytelling and visualization abilities to communicate data-driven insights to key decision makers.
• Expertise in working with large-scale data and fluency in querying languages such as SQL.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
