Job Description
Be a part of Asset & Wealth Management as a Sr. Licensing Analyst.
As a Sr. Licensing Analyst, you will be a driver of FINRA licensing success whose primary responsibility is managing, analyzing, reporting, and ensuring FINRA licensing success for licensing candidates. The role is part of the Wealth Management Private Banking Client Service Learning & Solutions Team which is responsible for all training and knowledge management needs for Client Service and will report to the New Hire and Licensing Lead.
Key functions include managing candidate progress against defined goals, meeting key targets for candidate onboarding within specified timeframes and ongoing day-to-day administration of licensing targets. Key skills include handling complex business challenges, meeting deadlines, addressing competing priorities and effectively interacting with key stakeholders.
The role will partner closely with learning partners, senior leadership, and third-party vendors to achieve the strategic licensing goals for the Client Service organization.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain robust administration details on licensing progress and completions and report candidate study progress for full visibility of status of all candidates studying for the various FINRA licensing exams required for the role
  • Identify critical performance gaps for licensing candidates and propose creative individualized solutions and hold regular 1:1s (in person or via email) with licensing candidates
  • Partner with JPMS Registration to ensure proper U4 completion including follow-ups and escalations, also coordinate with candidate to ensure exams dates are scheduled once the exam window(s) have been opened
  • Facilitate huddles and/or workshops with licensing vendors.
  • Maintain trackers to provide reporting to senior leadership around readiness
  • Contribute to licensing performance statistics and MIS reporting to assess the impact of performance against business metrics
  • Efficiently manage multiple projects at the same time and managing priorities effectively.
  • Research and benchmark to best business practices, collate and analyze data, provide business recommendations, and manage stakeholders
  • Adhere to and maintain the firm's controls policies and procedures
  • Effectively collaborate with different teams/stakeholders and internal business groups to deliver and execute tasks and projects
  • Vendor Management: Leads vendor management discussions including assessment of feedback from participants, reviewing vendor priorities and interpreting data and metric collated from participants.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and Skills:

  • 2-3 years communications, marketing, and / or financial experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills and the ability to engage with business partners in a timely and responsive manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required to interact with stakeholders at all levels, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience coordinating a collaborative effort to drive a common goal
  • Experience understanding and summarizing complex concepts in a manner that is easily understood, highlighting benefits or impact to targeted population
  • Experience in the client support environment preferred, as this role supports a population of client-facing individuals.
  • Experience presenting to a multi-dimensional audience
  • Positive attitude and discipline while delivering on high priority, time sensitive initiatives
  • Adept at using the Microsoft Office suite


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Securities Industry Essential (SIE) license preferred but not required
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite and Microsoft SharePoint
