The role of Senior J2EE Developer entails serving as a web application development expert, with key responsibilities including the development of web application infrastructure, reconciliation reports for the ISG legacy application, and enhancements to support product integration across various threads, such as equities, fixed income, listed derivatives, municipals, mortgages, and options.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 8+ years of development experience with Core Java, including JDBC, Concurrency, Multi-Threading, REST API, Collections, I/O, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Angular, and Node.js.
- Experience with shell scripting.
- Familiarity with SQL databases, particularly Oracle and DB2.
- Hands-on experience with application build and testing tools such as IDE, BitBucket, UDeploy, GitHub, Lightspeed, TeamCity, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Autosys, SonarQube, CheckMarx, Maven, and Gradle.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of application servers like Apache and Tomcat.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ECS applications, including OpenShift, Docker, and RedHat.
- Expertise in messaging services such as IBM MQ, Solace, Kafka, FIX, and RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with SFTP servers like Jscape.
- Experience implementing MSPKI key and trust store certificates, as well as managing passwords.
