What we do:
This role is responsible for The Trade Desk’s global collaboration productivity toolset: Microsoft 365, Zoom and Slack with the main focus on M365, Exchange, OneDrive/Sharepont, Entra and associated hosted applications. The position will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of these tools – ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
We are looking for someone that is comfortable working in a fast-paced IT systems shop dedicated to interoperability, scale, and availability across the entire suite of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hands-on involvement in technology and a drive to explore and implement innovative solutions.
What You Will Do:
- Administer, maintain, and be responsible for:
- Enterprise Application management of hosted solutions
- Configuring and managing Microsoft 365 applications, including OneDrive, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Power Platform.
- Collaboration systems administration and automation (Unified Communications, Hosted Email, Cloud File Management, Meeting Room Collaboration).
- Slack Enterprise Grid & Workspace Management.
- Zoom Platform - Meetings and Webinars, Rooms, Telephony.
- Investigate, test, and recommend existing collaborative tools or innovative technologies
- Contribute as a technical project resource for global Collaboration solutions across a mixed Windows, Linux, and MacOS (cloud and on-prem) environment
- Create and maintain efficient documentation for IT Standards, Policies, Procedures, and Knowledgebase articles
- Participate in security incident response processes and activities as appropriate
- Use best practices approach towards projects, implementations, and issue resolution; ability to provide status updates and reports
- Operationalize processes that can be performed by the Operations Team
- Provide tier-3 support as needed and maintain a high quality of support to ensure effective productivity of established employees, and future team members
- Maintain a high level of communication and positive professional relations with vendors and suppliers
Who You Are:
- Bachelors Degree in IT field and 5-7 years of related experience in understanding the management of M365, Entra, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and associated services.
- Possess strong scripting language experience with PowerShell, and other scripting languages
- Have a basic understanding of REST API framework and authentication
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts
- Demonstrate understanding of email and security management and protocols including:
- MAPI, SMTP, IMAP, POP3
- SPF, DKIM, DMARC
- Firewalls and gateways
- Email security best practices including spam filtering, URL filtering, anti-spoofing
- Have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Highly desirable skills/experience:
- Microsoft 365 certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity fundamentals, Modern Desktop Administrator Associate)
- Experience and demonstrated knowledge of Zoom Meetings, Zoom Room management, and Slack Enterprise Grid
- Intermediate experience administering, configuring, and managing email security using Microsoft Defender for Exchange Online
- Experience using access automation and/or SCIM provisioning (Tines, Okta, Conditional Access, or similar technology)
- Cloud-based SSO experience with Microsoft EntraID or similar IDP technolog.
- Experience in endpoint Management Tools (JAMF, Intune/Autopilot, ninjaOne, Oomnitza, Code42)
- Enterprise Azure Subscription Management and RBAC best practices
- Experience supporting international teams
- Experience with the ITIL framework in a SOX regulated environment
Availability Requirements:
- Attendance: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance
- Regular Hours: Must be regularly available and willing to work at least 8 hours per day, five days per week, or such other hours per day or hours per week as we determine are necessary or desirable to meet business needs. In-office attendance is required Tues-Thurs with work from home Monday and Friday
- After hours, weekends and holidays: Must be available and willing to work from time to time to meet critical business needs
- On-site Requirement: Must perform duties onsite, except those job duties which are customarily or by their nature performed offsite (such as meetings, deliveries to designated destinations, or training.)
- Will be required to carry a company-funded smart phone and expected to respond to urgent calls promptly

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$76,900—$141,000 USD
