Job Description
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr IT Project Manager, ERP to lead and oversee the implementation of [ERP system, e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics] across our organization. The candidate will have a proven track record in delivering large-scale ERP programs, excellent leadership abilities, transformation experience, and a deep understanding of IT project management and business process re-design.
What Your Impact Will Be:
Program Leadership:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Global ERP system, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all ERP program-related activities.
- Deliver multiple business capabilities across 150 markets across multiple time zones.
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, milestones, resource allocation, risk management, and contingency planning.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors, to ensure project success.
- Manage and lead multiple streams of projects/ programs to drive initiatives to success outcomes
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with executive leadership and department heads to define program objectives, priorities, and deliverables.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and provide recommendations for resolution.
Team Management:
- Build and manage a high-performing project team, including internal staff, contractors, and multiple vendors and third-party consultants.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to ensure successful delivery.
Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the program lifecycle.
- Develop and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project continuity.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure the ERP solution meets business requirements and quality standards through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Oversee data migration, system integration, and user acceptance testing.
Change Management:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy to facilitate user adoption and minimize disruption.
- Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage program budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and transparency.
- Optimize resource utilization across project phases.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- [Preferred] Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL).
- 15+ years of experience in IT program management, with a focus on ERP implementations.
- Experience in managing multi-site or global ERP implementations.
- Must have cloud-based ERP solutions and SaaS models.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to ERP systems.
- Supply Chain System Implementation Background including: Master Data, Product Development Lifecycle, Logistics, Order Management, etc
- Proven success in leading large-scale, complex ERP projects, Oracle ERP implementation is a must.
- Waterfall and Agile delivery models
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, business processes, and enterprise architecture.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
The annual base salary range for this position is between $163,000 and $190,000.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
