TITLE:  Sr. IT Auditor

JOB LOCATION:           350 Campus Drive, Marlborough, MA 01752

DUTIES: Perform information system and integrated audits to assess the adequacy of internal controls, validate compliance with regulatory standards, identify opportunities to streamline operational processes, and mitigate IT risks throughout the business.

• Execute information technology risk assessments and system tests to ensure appropriate protection and security is in place over data and transaction processing and identify improvement opportunities to strengthen overall control environment.
• Assess the controls, reliability and integrity of the company's systems and data to assist with maintaining and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management, internal controls and corporate governance.
• Interact and collaborate with management throughout the organization to understand the business, evaluate controls and simplify processes.
• Prepare audit reports with value-added recommendations.
• Conduct pre-implementation and post- implementation system reviews to ensure appropriate safeguards and effective controls are in place including access, reporting, and security posture.
• Evaluate IT general controls and perform testing to validate the effectiveness of the controls, strengthen control environment, and mitigate risks
• Coordinate with the external auditors during the testing of key controls.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to support business initiatives.
• Utilize business intelligence to organize, analyze, and contextualize data to provide value add insights, recommend process improvements, and identify risks.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or foreign equivalent, plus 2 years experience in IT auditing, IT risk management, or a related field; 2 years experience assessing and mitigating IT risks around business, IT systems, and processes; evaluating IT general and IT automated controls through design and operation testing, perform validation of internal controls, perform data collection to detect unmitigated risks and identify deficient controls which are out of compliance, perform information systems and operational audits; Experience may be gained concurrently.

This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.
