Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend – D3.js) to lead the development of engaging and scalable user experiences for our new product release. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex data visualizations and web applications using D3.js and React, collaborating closely with product managers and UX/UI designers. Your expertise will drive the success of our SaaS business applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize data visualizations and interactive user interfaces.
• Work with Product Development teams to define and implement a seamless user experience.
• Ensure high code quality, security, and scalability while maintaining UX consistency across our product portfolio.
• Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor and lead other frontend engineers, promoting best practices and innovation.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to create scalable visualization design systems for React applications.
• Optimize for performance across multiple devices and browsers.
• Stay up to date with advancements in data visualization and web technologies.

Qualifications

• Able to test design ideas using CSS and JavaScript, or prototyping software, as a way of building interactive proofs of concept
• Familiarity with agile, itera$ve design processes
• 5+ years of professional experience in web development, with a strong focus on data visualiza$on.
• Experience in D3.js, including a understanding of its core concepts and capabili$es.
• Strong experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React, Redux, Material UI, TypeScript and principles of responsive design, cross-browser, and web app design
• Good understanding of server-side languages (e.g. C#, ASP.NET, Python, etc.)
• Good understanding of APIs and databases
