Sr. FP&A Analyst

In this role, you will focus on understanding and analyzing business processes, accounting principles, and financial reporting, while contributing fresh ideas and fostering collaboration across a global team.

As a Sr. FP&A Analyst you will:

• Understand and evaluate accounting principles and business processes to ensure accurate financial reporting across the BR entity.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the financial planning and analysis process, including budget preparation, monthly forecasting, monthly variance analysis and management reports, providing actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Conduct economic-financial forecasts for projects and assist in the preparation of budget guidelines for BR teams.
• Monitor financial results and analyze key business metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance. 
• Assist the preparation of the monthly management reporting package for the BR entity and develop high-impact visualizations and presentations for decision making.
• Operate as a business partner for the BR entity to budget stakeholders and cross-functional teams, such as Accounting, Treasury, and Procurement, to monitor cost control and oversee financial goals. 
• Handle special projects involving financial analytics and analyze the financial performance of strategic investments, including ROI for marketing initiatives. 
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting, planning, and analysis to meet emerging business needs.
• Analyze and review P&L cost centers for BR entity, contributing to financial accuracy and transparency.
• Participate in reviews of mid-range plans and ensure financial policies align with the branch's objectives and priorities.

What you’ll bring:

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• Relevant experience in FP&A, Finance, Reporting, or Controlling departments.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and a good grasp of reporting process structures and systems.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including using formulas and macros, creating pivot tables, graphs, and charts.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and planning tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Navision or SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning) will be considered an asset.
• Experience with data preparation tools and familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI is a plus.
• Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide insightful solutions.
• Team player with excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.
