Job Description

The Sr. Financial Analyst, Technology will be responsible for supporting the financial processes and cross-functional partnership across the Technology and Finance organizations. This role combines P&L insights through the month-end close/forecast and annual budget processes; and strategic partnership within the Technology organization to influence and support executive business decisions.

The successful candidate will be a curious self-starter with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, while balancing a strong attention to detail with business storytelling skills. The candidate will possess an aptitude for continuous improvement and an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

This is a Hybrid position – this position does require 3 days per week in office - Tuesdays. Wednesdays, and Thursdays and the office is located in downtown Seattle, WA.

A day in the life…

  • Analyze and present Technology investment performance through reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to ensure transparency and accountability

  • Lead data transformation initiatives for the Technology organization’s 3rd party vendor spend helping to improve existing reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes

  • Manage key processes and provide business insights and storylines related to the monthly reporting of close results, forecast and the annual budget

  • Partner across Technology, Finance and other corporate functions to anticipate future business challenges and opportunities, and develop financial models for new strategies

  • Perform ad hoc analyses / special projects, synthesize, and clearly communicate findings to support executive-level decisions

  • Drive process optimization and efficiency initiatives to improve time to close and report

You own this if you have…

  • 3+ years of related experience

  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Proven experience in analysis, modeling, and reporting financial performance, with a strong sense of curiosity

  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and timelines

  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Oracle-Essbase, Anaplan, Tableau and/or SQL a plus

  • Ability to independently develop processes and deliverables from general direction

  • Experienced and a passion for driving continuous improvement work within team and with business partnerships

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail, data integrity and accuracy

  • Experience presenting to and collaborating with senior level stakeholders across the business (e.g. technology, product)

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $69,500 - $132,000 AnnuallyThis position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
