The Quality Process Improvement Engineer/Analyst will form part of the Quality Organisation and his/her responsibilities will include:

  • Support in the set up of new processes to ensure required quality level is achieved for these products. This will include putting in place well written procedures and standard work templates, as well as support in the training/certifications of operators on such processes.
  • Familiarizing himself/herself with all manufacturing processes within the company to ensure that all product generated is of an acceptable quality level
  • Ensure continuous improvement in current ongoing processes (through complaints/DPM trending, identify improvements required for processes)
  • Lead Investigations for Quality Issues arising either from in-process sampling or from Complaints, and hence Own CAPAs to remediate.
  • Support Quality Leads/Quality Manager in areas of top concern with regards to Quality Compliance (product related, quality systems related etc)
  • Support also in validations of lab equipment and other processes within the Quality Department such as sterilization/microbiology processes as needed

Who you are?

  • A degree in Engineering / Sciences with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment or in Quality Systems will be considered an asset

  • Have a problem-solving approach
  • Ready to work in a team, with flexibility and willingness to support across sections within Quality
  • Attention to detail, organised, good at multitasking and good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good communication in both Maltese and English
