We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our finance team. This individual will work closely with key business partners to help achieve the company’s growth and profitability objectives. Responsibilities are focused on strategic business planning, financial planning and analysis, and cross-functional partnership and leadership, to enable the sustainable, profitable scaling of a fast-growing business. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, result-oriented leader with extensive financial planning experience and interest in continued growth and development.  The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting, with a strong analytical acumen and a passion for the premium beauty industry.

WHAT YOU DO:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Lead the preparation of detailed financial reports across business units, channels, and geographies, providing actionable insights to senior leadership
  • Manage and oversee the annual budget, 3 year strategic plan and rolling forecasting exercises, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals
  • Monitor all relevant financial KPIs and spending. Make recommendations and act to preserve business growth and profitability
  • Provide recurrent view of Omnichannel profitability: P&L by Customer/ Door / Category / Commercial Line
  • Define and deliver ad hoc financial analysis adapted to the business needs
  • Support preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly financial business reviews and other reporting for the senior leadership team including strategic/business insights and progress against key performance measures
  • Develop financial models that reflect an aligned approach between business imperatives, investment/capital expenditure strategy and profitability goals
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the FP&A team of two, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through detailed financial modeling and reporting
  • Ensure the timely completion of financial deliverables and the maintenance of high-quality financial systems
  • Promote continued improvement of FP&A processes via digitalization, automation and value added analysis

Technology & Special Projects:

  • Leverage advanced financial tools such as Adaptive Insights, Power BI, and Excel modeling to enhance reporting capabilities and financial analysis
  • Work alongside the CFO to evaluate new technologies and ways of working to improve visibility into performance, and empower team members across the business to have the right data, at the right time to aid their decision-making process
  • Manage retail pricing and inflation analysis across the global business to drive appropriate actions to protect profitability
  • Work with the Controller to ensure that audit recommendations are implemented, and the team can continue to work efficiently whilst adhere to Controls Framework

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth, or luxury goods environment.
  • 4-year degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics; Graduate degree preferred
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team while working collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong track record of process implementation and transformation with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong proficiency in Adaptive Insights, Power BI, and advanced Excel modeling; the ability to quickly adapt to new financial systems and tools.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with the flexibility to be in the office at least two days per week.

The expected base salary range for this position is $155,000.00 to $165,000.00. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.

This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
