Sr Devops Engineer

Role Summary:

If you are selected, you will be part of Co-Design team within SES that provides start of the art software engineering solutions interacting and working with designers who develop world class NXP products. You will directly report to the Co-Design product owner. As part of the Co-design team you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of the tools within the scope of the team like Teamforge , Github , Sonatype Nexus and Cloudbees Jenkins , you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of automations built around providing these tools as a service to the business

Job Responsibility:

• Application support, administrate, configure, implement user requests, solve user reported incidents, debug functionalities issues users are encounter for our managed apps.
• Deployment of new tools and existing tools in various envs on-prem and cloud
• Automate the setup, scaling and management of applications using Configuration as Code (CasC).
• Optimize system performance by conducting system troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains.
• Document technical procedures, configurations, and the architecture of deployed solutions.
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Willing to work on DevOps model (Willingness to take up operational tasks)
• Comfortable working with remote teams in different geographical locations.
• Flexibility in working hours (ready to work on weekends when required though this will be extremely rare and necessary compensatory day off will be provided if it happens.
  Job Qualification:
• 3+ years (required) of Linux-based systems administration , Redhat certification RHCSA appreciable
• 2+ years (required) AWS Cloud knowledge demonstrable (SysOps/DevOps/Solution Architect certification appreciable).
• Experience in manging Docker and Kubernetes clusters (Storage Orchestrators, CNIs, Ingress and other resources)
• Experience in writing shell-based automations.
• Experience in writing helm-based deployments.
• Familiarity on writing terraform scripts, ansible, etc
• Working experience in Jenkins pipeline and groovy scripting.
• Working knowledge of Containers and running applications on Containers
• Working knowledge of UNIX & Windows platforms including knowledge of scripting language like Shell, Perl, Python etc.
